A winding path leads through the sometimes deserted western end of the San Francisco Botanical Garden and circles the Children's Garden. A pond and explanatory signs about California coastal habitats make this trail popular with school groups. Not as carefully attended to as the rest of the Garden, this is a place to go if you have time to explore a rather remote area. Note: there is no exit at the western end of the Garden.
